CHAMP is a Non-Profit organization dedicated to mentoring the youth through a shared love for the game of basketball.
We facilitate locally organized open-gym basketball runs, attend basketball camps, life skills camps, high school, college and professional basketball games as a group and provide a structured system where CHAMP graduates and area professionals make a positive impact on their community through youth mentorship.
There are many ways you can help:
- Volunteering: CHAMP relies on volunteers to carry out our mission and achieve our goals. You can offer your time and skills to help with events, programs, or administrative tasks.
- Spreading the word: Share information about our mission, programs, and events with your friends and family, and on social media.
- Donating equipment: If you have basketballs or basketball affiliated equipment to donate, we’d greatly appreciate it.
- Participating in fundraising events: If you have event management and marketing experience, we would love to talk with you. CHAMP relies on fundraising events to raise money for our programs and services. You can participate in these events by attending, organizing, or sponsoring.
- Advocating: Use your voice to advocate for CHAMP’s mission and causes. You can do this by writing letters to your representatives, signing petitions, and participating in public speaking opportunities.
- Create a fundraiser or challenge: You can use your network and social media to raise funds for CHAMP.
