Sky Wilson

Director of Women's Basketball

A decorated athlete and passionate coach, Sky Wilson lettered at La Quinta High School from 1997 to 2000, earning DVL 1st Team honors three consecutive years and Riverside County Honorable Mention in 1999 and 2000. In 2000, he moved to Hawaii and attended Kalaheo High School in Kailua, HI. He was named Hawaii State Gatorade Player of the Year and OIA Player of the Year for the 2000-2001 season. Collegiately, he played point guard at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona (ACCAC 2nd Team, 2001–2003) and later at Northwest Missouri State University, where he helped lead the Bearcats to the 2004 NCAA Division II Elite Eight. Upon graduating with a degree in Physical Education from Northwest Missouri, he transitioned to coaching, where he served as an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Basketball program at Hawaii Pacific University (2006–2013), serving in all aspects of the program, including lead recruiter. In the summer of 2013, Coach Sky and family moved back to the Coachella Valley, accepting the Head Boy’s Basketball Coach and PE positions at Cathedral City High School (2013–2016) and an Assistant Coach at La Quinta High School (2020–2022). Currently, he is the Director of SWISH Basketball Training (2013–Present), and the Head Coach of Hoop Hers (2024–Present), continuing to develop and inspire young athletes on and off the court. Coach Sky is a Physical Education Instructor at Desert Mirage High School and is married to Terri Wilson. They have two daughters, Nalah & Marli Wilson, residing in Indio, CA.

Terri Wilson

Associate Director of Women's Basketball

Terri Wilson is a former standout basketball player who lettered at Spanaway Lake High School from 1999 to 2002, earning First Team All-League honors in the South Puget Sound League (SPSL) in both 2001 and 2002. She went on to play two years at Scottsdale Community College, where she was named NJCAA First Team All-Region and an NJCAA All-American in 2003-2004. She was also a First Team All-Conference and All-Region selection in the ACCAC during the same period. Terri then transferred to the University of Dayton, where she played as a point guard from 2004 to 2006, earning a starting position for both years. Terri is an Assistant Coach for the Hoop Hers and works in Human Resources at College of the Desert.
